Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear about Bertha's passing. I always looked for her when I came to Garden Terrace to be with Harold. She was such a breath of fresh air in that place, always so pleasant and such a lovely lady.
Peace and blessings to the family.
Donna

Condolence: My sympathies to the Kanning family. I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that one day soon "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4) Not only will we not experience death, but we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones we have lost to death. This will take place by means of the resurrection hope, mentioned in the Bible at John 5:28,29. Imagine how you'll feel when your dear loved one, Bertha, is brought back to life, in a beautiful new paradise on earth! It's not a mere dream, but a future that will soon be realized. (Revelation 21:5)

Condolence: Aunt Bert ...what a Classy Lady! I was always amazed at her ability to look so put together even as she aged. She loved to dance and she would tell us that we needed to find a place to dance, because it was so fun and dancing kept you young!
I also remember Aunt Bert in her younger days. My sister and I stayed overnight at their house in Troy, ks. She and Uncle Bill were hard workers. Janette, Phyllis, Pat, and myself would go to the Ice Cream Place and Aunt Bert would be very firm in her instructions to get there and back. I remember her always working and she worked hard.
Aunt Bert earned her days to dance and have fun and she looked like a Queen !

Condolence: My Aunt Bert became my second mother in my adult life. I lived with Bert and Bill when I first moved back to Kansas City in 1983 from California working as a traveling nurse. So many wonderful memories with her I can't even begin to share. In all of them she always had a loving smile and made you feel she was always excited to see you. Family and extended family were very important to her and she always made the attempt to keep connected. She was and is a role model in how to keep going through adversity and still enjoy life. I will miss her smile.

Condolence: Precious in the sight of the LORD, is the death of his saints.
~Psalm 116:15~
May the Lord comfort your hearts, and give you peace. What a long, beautiful life. Although you do not sorrow as those who have no hope, the pain of loss, is real. You're in our thoughts and prayers. Much love to you, at this difficult time.
