Patricia Lorene Bowles, 73, of Lancaster, KS, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Effingham, KS. Memorials are suggested to Wisewoman Program or ASPCA (American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Patricia was born on March 17, 1945 in Great Bend, KS the daughter of Erastus and Lorene (Johnson) Lacy. She graduated from Horton High School in 1963 and then attended Salt City Business College in Hutchison, KS. Patricia worked in the Medical Administration field as a doctor’s office manager. Patricia enjoyed sewing and floral arranging, but her biggest passion was home improvement, restoring woodwork, painting and interior renovation.

Patricia married William Norman Bowles on March 18, 1963 in Miami, OK; he preceded her in death on January 29, 2006. Additional survivors include a son; Russell Bowles and Kristy Umscheid, Manhattan, KS, a daughter Cynthia and Joseph Holtmeyer, Tuscan, AZ, a brother Gerald Lacy, Pace, FL and eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren with one on the way.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother Leonard Lacy.
