Condolence: John and family,
Words are not enough to express how much I enjoyed your Dad. He is so proud of you and your boys and after every time that I saw him, our visit would always end with him sharing the most recent pictures of the boys with me. He is a one of a kind person and I consider myself blessed that our paths in life crossed and I was able to not only meet your Dad and get to know him, but also you and your family through pictures.
In sympathy,
Ginger

Condolence: My condolences to the Wistuba family. I still remember attending Boys State with John and the ride down with his parents after our Junior year in high school. I saw John last year at the Meriden threshing grounds. He passed me a note saying "I'll bet you don't recognize me." He had his grandsons with him and we conversed for quite a while. He'll be greatly missed.

Condolence: Only knew John during our high school years, was always somewhat quiet but very intelligent. In football John was smaller then most of our backfield but played offensive line very well, I believe he received all-league recognition. Rest in peace.

Condolence: I will miss you, John. I know we never solved the mystery on the Easton robbery. I guess you know ‘who done it’ now! I will keep searching in your honor. You knew so much Nortonville and family history. I appreciated your sharing the stories.

Condolence: John is one person that I admired greatly and as I have described numerous times, one of the most intelligent persons that I have ever known. His knowledge knew no bounds, a true Renaissance man. Johnny, I will miss our texts and I wish that i could have spent time with you having a beer and solving our world's problems, but as you described, I was always misunderstanding my priorities. I have only ever known one "John Wistuba" and can expect, that I will never know another.
I have never known a father more proud of his son and daughter, nor a grandfather of his grandsons, than Johnny was. He knew each one's personality to a tee. Godspeed Johnny, may we cross paths once more.
