The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Anna Sowers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to send my sympathies to the Sowers family. I know the Anniversary of your dear loved one is approaching, so I was thinking about you. No doubt over the course of time you've reminisced about the memories that you've had with Anna, and maybe that has brought to mind some sadness and lingering grief. Keep in mind the beautiful hope that is found in God's Word, the Bible. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This means that you and I have a chance to see our dear loved ones again, to be reunited with them right here on the earth, as God purposed. (Psalm 37:11,29) My thoughts and prayers will continue with your family.

Condolence: To the Sowers family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a loved brings us feelings of anguish and grief, but you can find comfort and hope in God’s Word, the Bible. John 5:28, 29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones in a Paradise on earth where "death is no more." (Revelation 21:3, 4)

Condolence: Though I did not know Anna, I know her daughter Anne and her granddaughter Valerie. They are both sweet, amazing ladies, so I know Anna was as well. Prayers for the family and sweet hope knowing she is with her Saviour. God bless. Karen Mcneil

Condolence From: Mr. & Mrs. Jamie & Kay (Brown) Sweat
Condolence: Annie was one of my first Sunday School teachers along with Cora at Carol Baptist Church around 1978-9ish. They tried to keep us toddlers in our chairs coloring pictures to go along with the simple parables that we might glean what our little minds could about the Lord and His Love for us. They were so kind, patient and caring towards us. I still remember them teaching us about Zaccheus being told to get out of the tree (Luke 19). We were encouraged to say it loudly together as we colored in our character in the tree on our papers. I don't recall a time I didn't know about Jesus and God's love. My family had a big part in that but most assuredly Annie Sowers and Cora were huge in molding my little open mind and pointing me to salvation from our Lord. God Bless her family and be encouraged that we will see her again one day and celebrate our Lord together.
