Obituary for Mary E. Wilburn (Clem)
Mary E. Wilburn, 92, of Atchison, KS passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at Medicalodge of Atchison, KS.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Ziegler officiating. Burial will follow at Sumner Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.
Mary was born on December 10, 1924 in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Edgar and Minnie (Tull) Clem. She worked various places throughout her life, such as Wilson’s Poultry, Atchison Leather Products, Atchison Mop Factory, Senior Village and as a kitchen helper at Atchison Day Care. Mary after retirement had an in home day care. Mary was member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing, embroidery, fishing and camping.
Survivors include three daughters; Mary Rosalla Tucker, Denison, KS, Phyllis Chapman, Effingham, KS, Kelly Wilburn, Pilot Point, TX, and a brother Raymond Clem, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons; Lowell Connard, Earl and Harold “Bubba” Wilburn, a daughter, Laura Walbridge, four brothers, William, Robert, Frank, Edgar Clem, four sisters, Doris Reagan, Deloris Bonnel, Rose Faught, Edna Clem.
