Condolences

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to send my sympathies to the Thummel family. I know the Anniversary of your dear loved one is approaching, so I was thinking about you. No doubt over the course of time you've reminisced about the memories that you've had with Dennis, and maybe that has brought to mind some sadness and lingering grief. Keep in mind the beautiful hope that is found in God's Word, the Bible. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This means that you and I have a chance to see our dear loved ones again, to be reunited with them right here on the earth, as God purposed. (Psalm 37:11,29) My thoughts and prayers will continue with your family.

Condolence: Father, I pray for Dennis Thummel's circle of family and friends who are grieving... They're hurting for the loss of Dennis, and I ask You to help them through this season of loss. I reach out to You, the Father of compassion and the Source of every comfort, asking You to touch them with Your unfailing love and kindness. Be their God who comforts them as they're going through their struggles, and bring them through the tough things ahead. Come alongside them in their pain, and strengthen them so they'll one day be able to help others who face the same struggles.

Condolence: I want to express my sympathies to the Thummel family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that you find comfort in knowing that one day you'll have the hope of seeing your loved ones again. Acts 24:15 says that "there is going to be a resurrection." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones. During difficult times like this, we need comfort, and Almighty God is the source of that comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) May you find strength in knowing that death is not the end, but that there is a beautiful hope of seeing our loved ones again at a time when "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4)
