The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bettie Linscott can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to send my sympathies to the Linscott family. I know the Anniversary of your dear loved one is approaching, so I was thinking about you. No doubt over the course if time you've reminisced about the memories that you've had with Bettie, and maybe that has brought to mind some sadness and lingering grief. Keep in mind the beautiful hope that is found in God's Word, the Bible. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This means that you and I have a chance to see our dear loved ones again, to be reunited with them right here on the earth, as God purposed. (Psalm 37:11,29) My thoughts and prayers will continue will continue with your family.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the Linscott family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience, and it can leave us crushed in spirit. However, at Isaiah 57:15, here Almighty God Jehovah says, "I reside in the high and holy place, but also with those crushed and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of those being crushed." God notices your suffering, and through his purpose he has provided a beautiful resurrection hope that you can have faith in. (John 5:28,29)

Condolence: The Bible at Psalms 90:10 refers to those who live into their 70’s or 80’s as being ‘especially strong.’ Yes, your beloved Bettie was blessed with this strength. May her strength trickle down to her family and friends giving you comfort to cope in the days ahead. Lean on God for ‘everlasting comfort’ 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17 for he is close to those ‘brokenhearted’ Psalms 34:18. My deepest sympathy.
