Angela Kay (Bird) Vandeloo, 40, of Atchison, KS died Sat. April 2, 2016 at the Newman Regional Medical Center, Emporia, KS.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am on Friday, April 8th, 2016 at the New Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Ken Watkins officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Atchison. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials are suggested to help with final expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Angela was born on June 30, 1975 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of James and Beverly (Moore) McNeely. She attended Atchison High School and formerly worked at Sonic, and then as an associate at Walmart. She enjoyed fishing and her children.

She was married to Charles “Tommy” Bird on March 8, 1993. They were later divorced. Angela was married to Scott Vandeloo on Oct. 7, 2015. Mr. Vandeloo survives of Winfield, KS. Additional survivors include a son: Jermicka Bird, Atchison, KS a daughter: Andrea Katherine Bird , Atchison, KS, her parents: James and Beverly McNeely, Atchison, KS, maternal grandmother, Mabel “Boots” Moore, Atchison, KS, step-son: Hendrix Vandeloo, Atchison, and step-daughter: MacKenzie Vandeloo, Lee Summit, MO, two sisters: Stephanie McNeely, St. Joseph, MO, and Candy McNeely, Atchison, KS, a step-sister: Tracey Cleveland, Bosman, MT, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
