Obituary for Raymond E. Noll

Raymond E. Noll, 92, of Mooney Creek, KS died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Corpus Christi Church with Fr. Lazar Carasala as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Corpus Christi Cemetery, Mooney Creek, KS. A parish rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Friday, July 10th, 2015 with visitation to follow until 8:30 pm at the Corpus Christi Church, Mooney Creek. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Adam Beltz Memorial Fund or the Corpus Christi Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Ray was born on Dec. 28, 1922 at Mooney Creek, KS the son of William A. and Mae (Hoffman) Noll. He was a lifetime farmer, avid hunter & fisher man, gardener and sports fan. Ray was a friend to many here on earth & many who are deceased. He was a member of the Corpus Christi Church and served on the Finance Committee. He was a life time member of Knights of Columbus, a morning coffee club attendee around Jefferson CO. and occasionally Atchison County coffee clubs. Ray enjoyed blue grass music and going dancing.

Ray was married to Louise Schrick on Aug. 25th, 1952 at Corpus Christi Church. Louise preceded him in death on Aug. 30th, 1986. Survivors include a longtime friend, Ann Ruhlman, Atchison, KS, two sons; Jeff Noll, Leavenworth, KS. and Brian Noll, Niangua, MO., three daughters; Susan (Harold Calkins) Hanrahan, Jonesboro, AR, Kathy (David) Beltz, Buffalo, MO, and Julie (Greg) Towsley, Lenexa, KS., a sister; Virginia McCoy, Atchison, Eleven Grandchildren; Jason, Eric & Matthew Beltz, Jennifer(Donnie) Ferguson, Grace Darrow, Lauren, Dan & Alissa Towsley, Chad & Cort (Jennifer) Calkins, Seven Great Grandchildren; Easton, Londyn , Lakyn Beltz, Madeline & Natalie Ferguson, Kyla & Roya Calkins. His parents, wife Louise, sister; Mildred Lee, brother; Kenneth Noll, & grandson; Adam Beltz preceded him in death.
