Frances Lucille Otte , 96, of Atchison, KS died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Atchison Senior Village.Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Ziegler officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison, KS. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Friday, September 30th, 2011 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.Lucille was born on Nov. 22, 1914 in Rosendale, MO, the daughter of Raymond L. and Carrie (Beattie) Baumann. She attended Deer Creek Grade School and graduated from Atchison High School. She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Ira Morrison, and then as an X-ray Tech at the Atchison Hospital. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Priscilla Guild, attended Pastor¡¯s Bible Class, was a member of the Riverbend Red Hat Society, and enjoyed sewing, fishing, hiking, traveling and hiking the Grand Canyon when she was 61 years young, arranging flowers, and painting.She was married to Walter Otte on Jan. 7, 1932. They were married 42 years prior to his death in 1974. She was later married to Theodore C. Otte on August 22, 1992 in Atchison, KS. Ted preceded her in death on April 28, 2011. Survivors include a son, Allan (Ruth) Otte, Atchison, KS, a daughter, Betty (Tom) Sowers, Atchison, KS, a sister, Myrtle (Jim) Mullins, Atchison, KS, fifteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Her parents, both husbands, a son, Bob Otte, a daughter, Sharon Riddle, four brothers; Loren, Kenneth, Ivan and Verle Baumann all preceded her in death.
